Finally someone who tells it like it is. In his column, United States joins generals and crooks in Pakistan, Haroon Siddiqui finally brings perspective to this entire "democracy" hooplah going on in the country. I don't really think Pakistan deserves democracy yet. Pakistanis (including myself) don't really understand the true meaning of it. And how indifferent can people be to the corruption of their leaders. Wouldn't life be just peachy if we could get as many chances as we could to do whatever we wanted? Gosh, I hate politics.

Uff! Been a long long time. The past couple of months have been a ride. Lots of work at office, a trip to Phuket, my yearly visit to Pakistan and well lots of other stuff along the way. To get things started again, here's one beautiful quote I read for the first time:
"The foundation of all mental illness is the avoidance of legitimate suffering."
Carl Jung
And another:
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid across the line broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, leaking oil, shouting GERONIMO!"
Bill McKenna, professional motorcycle racer, Cycle magazine Feb. 1982
Until next time...
